I have been teaching English to Thai kids and adults for 9 years in Moobann Nakkeela Laemthong, Sapansung district. Most of the kids are in the 1st-12 grades (provided that they did not study in the same time LOL).
I am able to distinguish of different aged groups of students. For 1st-3rd grade students, I teach phonic, conversation and grammar in a way that they could communicate freely. For 4th-6th grades, they stress on conversation and grammar (to pass the test though). This applies to junior high school and high school students, but these groups, I provide applicable English to them. While speaking seems to be the biggest problem of Thai kids, writing is a hassle to adult students. but I could teach adults to find writing a piece of cake for them.
