Biography

My. Name is' Saranyu Suwannasoonthon and I come from Bangkok, I graduated from Kasetsart universiy maioring in classicalliazz and saxophone. I have loved music since I was little-my dad played guitar and sang, so I really wanted to learn to play an instrument.

At high school, when I Was 12 years· old, I. joined the military band, playing alto saxophone. The band was competing in Thailand's Military Band competition and received the runner up-prize. For my university course, the music major was

an obvious choice and set myself the goal of becoming a professional musician: I chose the saxophone as I enjoyed seeing his Majesty the King playing,

During my time at university, I played in a band whicb performed in Singapore I 2001 and won the Thailand

Music Award in 2004. I then began my career as a professional saxophonist, playing in hotels, restaurants and pubs, as well as Thai bands. I also spent ten years traveling around the world with the Nontri Orchestra Wind band, becoming a Thai cultural representative, I join to form my own"Boy Thai Band", mixing traditional Thai with international music in a contemporary style. For the past two years, have been playing in Phuket at the Catch Beach Club and Bimi Beach Club,HQ Beach Lounge Palm Seaside,Twin Palms Hotel, Seduction Night Club, Laguna Night Club..,etc.

is a tourist attraction with many different nationalities and cultures. Here in Phuket, he music is varied arrd it is good for me to develop new styles to entertain guests at different venues.

In my spare time, I listen to music, practice music and watch movies. I also like to party and travel-both in Thailcind and abroad.

Nowadays, I have my own music school and also sell all kinds of musical instruments at Bangkok,Thailand under the name "SaxophoneSiam", "The Band Music Shop & School"
