Hello! My name is Hay Me Soe. You can call me Tr. Poe Tu.
I am excited to share why I love teaching in preschool and young learners.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Computer Studies, Mandalay, Myanmar. I also hold a Postgraduate Diploma in English from the University of Foreign Languages, Mandalay, and I am certified in TKT from Cambridge. I got TESOL Methodology 2024 course from Open MOOCs. And I have three years of experience teaching children aged 3 to 5. I started my career at MCE Preschool, where I created fun and educational lesson plans tailored for each child.

In addition, I have been working as a home tutor and online tutor for young learners from 2016 to the present time.

I believe young children learn best through play and hands-on activities. I create a safe and fun environment where every child feels important and excited to learn. I make learning fun by using games, stories, and activities that keep children engaged and interested.

In my classroom, I ensure that children feel safe and happy. I use various teaching methods to match how each child learns best. For example, I use pictures, songs, and stories to make lessons interesting. I want every child to feel like they belong and are eager to come to school.

I love sensory play. I use bins filled with materials like rice, sand, and water beads for children to explore, helping them learn about different textures. I also incorporate music and movement. We start the day with a ‘morning dance’ to get ready for learning. During story time, I use puppets and props to bring stories to life, which helps with imagination and language skills.

I believe it’s important to communicate with parents about their child’s progress. I send regular updates through newsletters and emails, and I meet with parents for conferences. I invite parents to join classroom activities and events. Working together with parents helps each child succeed.
